USS Michael Murphy visited New York

The USS Michael Murphy is a new Navy Destroyer named after the Metal of Honor Navy Seal---Lt. Michael P.Murphy. Staten Island has the honor of it docking there while waiting for its October 6th commission.

The state-of-the art ship will be ready for visitors, Sunday from 1 to 5pm. The USS Michael Murphy will be at the Homeport Pier in Staten Island. Everyone is welcome to visit during the hours noted above. On Tuesday and Wednesday it will be located in Pier 88 in Manhattan.

The ship was named after Lt. Michael P. Murphy  a Navy Seal who led a team of only four men as they searched for the Taliban. His team was attached by approximately 50 men when searching on an Afghan Mountain top in 2005.

While wounded in the stomach he managed to crawl back to his team after he called command to advise them of  their location. He was shot in the back and continued to fight until his death hours later.

He was only 29 years old ---no one could be more of a hero in a battle than this brave Navy Seal. Our prayers are to you Lt. Michael P. Murphy and our deepest gratitude for an American Hero.

Admiral William McRaven

I am up-dating on October 20, 2020 of what McRaven said and you can decide what you think about it: Quote: Retired Adm. William McRaven wrote an op-ed article Monday in The Wall Street Journal saying he held certain conservative viewpoints but also believed in ideas like "Black lives matter." He wrote that he voted for the Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, because "we need a president for all Americans, not just half of America." McRaven has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, who he has accused of harming American values and tearing down US institutions. UnQuote. John D. Gresham interviewed Adm. William H. McRaven in June of this year.
John Gresham wrote in his own words--- that Admiral McRaven is the ninth commander of Special Operations Command at Florida’s MacDill Air Force Base. He served two years in the Joint Special Operations Command as the 11th Commander.

Admiral McRaven served two years in Special Operations Command Europe as commander. He was also the first director of NATO Special Operations Forces Coordination Center.

Admiral McRaven has commanded on every level of Special Operations, and is one man
all Americans should honor as a great man who gives all to keep his country and the people of American safe.

I thank you Admiral from my whole American born heart, and salute you as a man worthy of all America’s respect and gratitude.

Please read John D. Gresham entire interview.
